New to Pilates, or looking for a more considered approach?
We work with people of all backgrounds and experience levels, meeting you exactly where you are.
To get the most from your sessions, we recommend beginning with a 1:1 Intro Class or a Beginner class. This allows us to understand how you move and introduce the method and equipment in a clear, unhurried way before progressing to more dynamic classes.
Our focus is on helping you move better.
From the start, you’ll be guided with attention and precision so your body can build strength, coordination, and confidence in a way that lasts.
-
If it’s your first time doing Pilates, your first step is The Intro Class. Here we can assess your strengths/weaknesses and design your program for movement freedom.
Following your Intro Class, you can move on to either a pack of private classes or go straight into our Beginner Group Classes.
We have an introductory offer for Group Classes , it’s called the Group Equipment Starter Pack and it is a pack of 5 GE Classes designed to make you feel what continuity and regularity in your practice feel like.
If you have any questions, please don’t be shy and call us ! Or during your intro class we can chat and see what you might need the most.
Both the Intro class and the GE starter pack can only be purchased once per client.

Around a century ago, Joseph Pilates designed a comprehensive movement system to be performed on different pieces of equipment, notably the Reformer/ Tower.
Incorporating a chain of pulleys, handles, springs and straps, the apparatus can provide both resistance and support to suit your specific needs as you move through different Pilates movements.
We also have the high barrel, ped ‘o Poll, the Wunda chair, and foot correctors to restore your body’s full movement expression in our fully equipped studio.
Each piece of equipment is specially designed to train different body parts for optimal health and it is true to the classical design.

At SW4 Pilates, we keep class sizes intentionally small so you’re not just moving, you’re being guided.
You’ll work on classical Reformer and Tower equipment, used as a way to help your body organise itself more efficiently. The aim isn’t to push you through endless repetitions, but to build clarity, coordination, and ease in how you move and breathe!
Our teachers are comprehensively classically trained and highly attentive. You’ll receive real-time feedback throughout the session, helping you understand your own patterns and gently refine them. This is where real change happens, not through force, but through better organisation.
We focus on creating a strong, adaptable foundation by supporting the relationship between your muscles, joints, and nervous system. Over time, this leads to movement that feels more natural, more balanced, and more sustainable.
While larger, fast-paced classes can have their place, they often leave little room for individual attention. Without that guidance, it’s easy to lose precision and fall into unhelpful habits.
For us, Pilates is about being taught how to move, not simply moving.
We stay grounded in the principles of the original method, while integrating current understanding of the body. Our team brings a wide range of experience across movement, rehabilitation, and teaching, and we continue to evolve our approach through ongoing learning.
You’ll be supported by a group of thoughtful, skilled teachers, all working with the same intention: to help you reconnect with your body and move with more clarity and confidence.
