FAQs
Getting Started
1. I'm new to Pilates. Where should I begin?
Start with our Intro Class (£60) a one-on-one session to introduce you to classical Pilates and our equipment. This helps us assess your needs and guide your Pilates journey. People with long term injuries or chronic pain find this particularly helpful.
2. What is the Group Equipment Starter Pack (GESP)?
The GESP is a 5-class introductory pack at a discounted rate (£130) for newcomers, valid for 28 days. It's ideal if you’re looking to try group classes before committing to a full pack. Please check availability before purchasing.
3. Can I do group classes without an Intro Class?
If you’re new to Pilates, we always recommend doing the Intro Class first. This ensures you're confident and prepared to join group sessions safely and effectively. However, it is entirely up to you. usually young and fit people tend to be ok in our group classes as they are kept small and we are still able to guide you effectively, even if you are new to the method. However, if you have any injuries or imbalances you would like us to address then an Intro is definitely where you want to start.
Classes & Levels
4. What types of classes do you offer?
We offer Beginner, Improver, Intermediate Group classes and Private sessions, including Duets. We also offer private trios if you and two friends want to reserve a private slot just for you, this is a very popular option for birthdays and little gathering of friends.
5. What’s the difference between Beginner , Improver and Intermediate classes?
Beginner Classes: Ideal for those new to Pilates or returning after a long break. These classes are designed to lay out the basics and important movements that will set you up for success and progress you in no time.
Improver Classes: For those with a solid Pilates foundation, ready to deepen their practice.
Intermediate classes: After our improver classes, people get moved to our intermediate classes. Moves are a little more complex and coordinated and the class is definitely moving faster at this level. Ask your teacher when they think you are ready to move up level.
6. How many people are in a class?
We keep classes small as we are passionate abut this method and all its special nuances. We keep classes to a maximum of 3 people, so you receive personalised attention.
