We have moved ! Why and what it means for you.
After months of grieving the imminent loss of our original home ( The Clapham North Arts Centre) dreaming, planning, and a little bit of heavy lifting, I’m so excited to share that SW4 Pilates has a new home, and it’s more than just a new address. It’s a space that reflects everything I believe Pilates should be: personal, precise, transformative, and rooted in the classical method.
This move wasn’t made lightly. For a long time we thought we would pack up and leave London to be closer to our family up in Scotland, but life is beautiful as it is unexpected and it turns out we are going to stay a few more years in London. The new space is bigger, brighter and it just feels like an upgrade on so many levels.
Why the Move?
Although we were forced to move, as the CNAC has been sold to new owners with a new project, it also felt the right time to grow and expand and so yes ! Here we are. Union Court is our new home. Closer to Stockwell and Clapham North, on the beautiful union road, only a stone throw away from the CNAC.
What’s New
Here’s what you’ll find in our new home:
A larger, more open studio for movement freedom and comfort.
A professional building entry system with interphone access.
Secure surroundings for peace of mind before and after your session.
Bike racks just outside the building entrance, perfect for cycling in and your bike is safe here.
Street parking available nearby (metered Monday–Friday until 6:30pm, then free after 6:30pm and on weekends).
It’s a small detail, but one we care about because your experience starts the moment you arrive.
Looking Ahead: New Classical Equipment Arriving This September
In September, we’ll be welcoming a full set of new classical Pilates apparatus, replacing our current one, purpose-built to honour the original work of Joseph Pilates and elevate the way you experience each movement.
With the addition of this equipment, we’ll be able to expand our group class capacity to 4 people per session, while maintaining the same level of personal attention and high-quality teaching you've come to expect.
And yes, prices will remain the same.
This is our way of growing without compromising our values: small class sizes, authentic Pilates, and real transformation.
