The post-natal pack
The post-natal pack
The Postnatal Pack at SW4 Pilates is designed to support you through every stage of your recovery after birth with care, guidance and expert support.
We know that every postnatal journey is different, which is why this package combines both clinical assessment and mindful movement rehabilitation to help you reconnect with your body safely and confidently.
The pack includes a Mummy MOT with a specialist women’s health osteopath at Clapham Osteopathic Practice, alongside a detailed movement and Pilates assessment with our pre and postnatal team. Together, these sessions allow us to assess your posture, breathing patterns, pelvic floor function, abdominal recovery and any areas of weakness, tension or imbalance following pregnancy and birth.
From there, we create a personalised rehabilitation plan tailored specifically to your needs and goals. Whether you are recovering from a caesarean birth, managing diastasis recti, pelvic floor dysfunction, back pain or simply wanting to feel strong in your body again, we are here to support you.
Using the classical Pilates method and specialised equipment, we focus on rebuilding strength, improving mobility, restoring alignment and helping you move with confidence again in a calm and supportive environment.
At SW4 Pilates, we believe postnatal recovery should feel empowering, nurturing and holistic, supporting not only the body, but also the mind and nervous system during this important transition into motherhood.
When you purchase this Assessments you also unlock a series of discounts with both Osteos and SW4 Pilates.
what to expect
What to Expect
Your Postnatal Pack begins with a calm, supportive and personalised approach to recovery. We understand that every body and every birth experience is unique, so our aim is to meet you exactly where you are in your postnatal journey.
You will first attend your Mummy MOT with a specialist women’s health osteopath at Clapham Osteopathic Practice. This in depth assessment looks at posture, pelvic floor function, abdominal separation, breathing patterns, mobility and any areas of discomfort or imbalance that may have developed during pregnancy and birth.
Following this, you will have a movement and Pilates assessment with our pre and postnatal team at SW4 Pilates. During this session, we take time to understand how your body is feeling, discuss your goals and assess how you move. This allows us to create a tailored rehabilitation plan designed specifically for you.
Using the classical Pilates method and specialised equipment, we focus on restoring strength, improving alignment, reconnecting to your core and pelvic floor, and helping you move with greater ease and confidence again.
Sessions are gentle, focused and supportive, with plenty of individual guidance throughout. Whether you are newly postpartum or further along in your recovery, our goal is to help you feel stronger, more balanced and more connected to your body in a safe and welcoming environment.
Exclusive Postnatal Pack Benefits
As part of your Postnatal Pack, you will also receive a selection of exclusive follow up benefits to continue supporting your recovery journey.
The pack unlocks a 10% discount on one follow up osteopathy appointment at Clapham Osteopathic Practice, allowing you to continue your care and rehabilitation with ongoing specialist support if needed.
You will also receive £20 off your first class pack at SW4 Pilates, helping you transition into regular movement and Pilates practice with personalised guidance in our small group classes or private sessions.
Our goal is to make your recovery feel supported, accessible and sustainable, giving you the tools and confidence to feel strong in your body again.
What Sets Us Apart
Our passion from movement
All of our experienced teachers have taken years to qualify and to truly study the system of Classical Pilates, not just to learn the exercises, but to understand the method deeply.
We’ve studied how to adapt it to different bodies, different needs, different injuries, different personalities. Because no two bodies are the same, and they shouldn’t be treated that way.
We are not weekend teachers, if you know what I mean 😉( waaaay before the reformer craze hit the fitness industry)
This is a craft we’ve devoted years to refining. A system we respect. A method we continue to study.
And that depth of training is something you will feel, in the precision, in the attention, and in the way your body changes over time.
Small Classes. Real Attention.
We keep our classes intentionally small, maximum 4 people.
Why? Because Pilates was never meant to be taught to a room of 20 bodies moving at once. It’s a method that requires eyes, precision and real-time feedback.
In our studio, you are seen. You are corrected. You are guided.
You won’t get lost at the back of the room. And you definitely won’t be left guessing whether you’re “doing it right.”
Small classes mean big change.
Also means, you definitely get more for your money ;p
We will juice every £ out of your muscles.
Classical Pilates: As It Was Designed
We stay true to the original system created by Joseph Pilates. Not a fitness trend. Not a remix. Not choreography on springs.
This is intelligent, structured, progressive work.
Each exercise builds on the next. Each level prepares you for the one above. There’s a reason for everything we teach, and a reason for the order in which we teach it.
It may look simple. It may feel humbling.
But it works. And it works deeply.
But don’t worry we are not purists, we can adapt to anyone. We continue to study and keep our knowledge up to date with anatomy, biomechanics and science based scientific research.
With some of the best Classical Pilates trainings out there, all of our teachers make a true difference to the way movement is experienced.
We believe movement is personal. Each and every one of us needs to understand it, learn it, and truly feel it in our own body. It’s not about copying shapes, it’s about creating connection.
Our teachers excel at making sure every single person in the class is getting what they need from each exercise. The cue that clicks. The adjustment that transforms it. The moment where it suddenly makes sense.
This is teaching that sees you.
